NEW! McCulloch VS57 Supercharger Shop Manual – Click Here!
Welcome to VintageSupercharger.com!
This website is currently under development, and probably be ‘work-in-progress’ for years to come as I collect all the information I can about superchargers and how they were used on antique and classic vehicles. The majority of the content of this website is the McCulloch or Paxton supercharger, as that is the style I have been interested in the most since I learned of them as a neophyte gear head, but I realize the need to set up a web page dedicated to not only the older Paxton/McCulloch line, but to all vintage superchargers, from the popular GMC-based “roots” superchargers and S.C.o.T. blowers, but to all the other styles, not matter how niche. They neat pieces of equipment and for many of them there is not a lot of information or history available online.
There are several things I hope to achieve with this web page:
- Attempt to catalog the various parts and complete systems of vintage superchargers.
- Detail installation and tuning of these supercharging systems.
- Set up a forum and hope some more knowledgeable folks will show up and share their wisdom and information.
- Provide a classifieds board so these often hard to find parts can be bought, sold, or exchanged.
I take pictures and note part numbers of parts I own, or when I spot supercharged vehicles at car shows. Much of the information has submitted by others interested in vintage superchargers as well, so if you would like to add anything please feel free to contact me.
So that’s about it for now. Watch this page for future developments!
